Welcome

Dartmouth is a true community.

A place where we truly feel part of something special. A place where neighbours are more than neighbours—more like friends who look out for one another. People who take a genuine interest in their surroundings, happy to pitch in and help improve the community around them.

This is the community I live in, and the community I would be proud to represent on city council.

Major changes are on the horizon in Dartmouth. Renewal is happening. New developments are underway. Small businesses are springing up.

And while change is exciting, it cannot come at the expense of what makes Dartmouth unique. Change must improve the way we live. Development must contribute to our community.

Dartmouth Centre has a past worth preserving and a present I'm proud to have played a role in shaping as a journalist, a volunteer, and a community activist.

With your support, I'm eager to play a role in shaping our future by listening to you and acting for you as a strong voice on city council. My name is Kate, and I am stepping up to serve as councillor for District 5 in Dartmouth. I ask for your support.

Don't know if you live in District 5? Check out the District 5 map.

Donate on GoFundMe

Come election day, the most important thing is that you vote. However, in the days leading up to the election you can help Kate out in other ways, such as taking a yard sign or donating to the campaign. Even $5 is a huge help! We have set up a donate page, but we’ve decided to set up a GoFundMe page to make it even easier to donate and to invite your friends to donate through social media.
